Service Description

Restorative yoga calms the nervous system, boosts the immune system and improves our capacity for healing. It also helps promote a deeper sense of understanding and compassion for ourselves and others. Focusing on stillness and deep breathing, this style of yoga encourages complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The body is supported while grounding poses are held anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes. No experience is necessary. You may want to bring a bolster, blankets and blocks. If you don’t have these items, pillows, towels, and thick books are good alternatives.
